Quality Control & Inspection

At HST Titanium, strict quality control procedures are applied throughout the entire production and delivery process of titanium bars to ensure consistent quality, dimensional accuracy, and reliable performance.

Raw Material Control

All titanium bars are produced from qualified titanium sponge and ingots.
Chemical composition is strictly controlled according to international standards, with full traceability for each heat and batch.

Dimensional Inspection

  • Diameter and dimensional tolerance are inspected using calibrated measuring instruments
  • Each batch is checked to ensure compliance with customer-specified tolerances
  • Straightness and surface consistency are visually and mechanically verified

Surface & Appearance Inspection

Surface condition is inspected after turning or polishing

Clean cut ends with no cracks, burrs, or surface defects

Bars are checked for scratches, dents, or oxidation before packing

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

  • Eddy current testing is applied to detect surface and near-surface defects
  • Ultrasonic testing (UT) is available for larger diameter bars upon request
  • Testing standards can be customized based on project requirements

Mechanical & Chemical Testing

  • Tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation tested when required
  • Chemical composition analysis performed according to ASTM / ISO standards
  • Third-party inspection is accepted upon customer request

Documentation & Traceability

  • EN 10204 3.1 Material Test Certificate (MTC) provided
  • Inspection reports linked to batch and heat number
  • Full documentation supplied before shipment
